Lot's of great happenings going on over the next few weeks...!
We are participating in the "All Iowa Shop Hop" June 1st thru the
14th. This is the first time Iowa is hosting a statewide shop hop
and this are over 80 shops that are participating. We will have extended
hours for shopping and there are some great prizes. You can visit them
all or just part of them but what a great "Road Trip" for you and you
quilt posse. For more information go to

We are also taking sign ups for a new block of the month from Laundry
Basket Quilts by Edyta Sitar and Moda Fabrics. We will be doing her
gorgeous applique quilt, Spring Bouquet. Now before you say 'I don't do
applique" this quilt will make you think twice. The applique pieces come
precut for each block ready to fuse onto the background and either be
hand or machine appliqued!! No tracing, no fussy cutting, just peel,
place and iron! Our BOM will work as follows:
- Month one: You get ALL of your background fabric, the first
months applique pieces, called Silhouettes, the pattern, and
matching thread kit.
Cost $141.00
- Month two thru eight: You get the Silhouette applique package
for that month. Cost $23.00 per month
- Month 9: You get the 4 border Silhouette packages, a charm pack
for the checkerboard border, and the binding. Cost: $141.00

This BOM will be limited to the first 12 signups with a $50.00 deposit.
The fabric is expected to arrive late May or early June. We will not be
working on this at the shop as a class but as always, you are welcome to
sit and sew in our class room. Don't wait! Kits are limited and you
don't want to miss out!
