Expressions in Threads opened on April 1, 2004 with about 300 bolts of fabric. It was the dream of owner Pam Hughes to offer quality fabrics and supplies to quilters in the Quad City area. Since then business has blossomed! We now carry over 3200 bolts of fabric, and a wide aray of patterns, books and notions.

We have recently added the JANOME line of sewing and embroidery machines to further fill our customers needs. We love the quality and affordability of these machines. The 6600P was designed with the quilter in mind, and is our favorite model. We will be giving you training with the purchase of your machine, and will service them right here.

We are a meeting place for local quilters. We host the local Project Linus group and our classroom is open for Sit & Sew groups when classes are not being held. We have a monthly Thimbleberry Club and another monthly group simply called the "Tuesday Club" that features a variety of fabric and pattern companies. Quilters love to gather and share, and we encourage them to gather with us!
